Community

Community has become quite the buzzword. It’s well on its way to being trite which is unfortunate as it is one of the most important and powerful forces in our lives. Much of the change that happens in us and around us is due to the people we live amongst.

To adequately approach the concept of growth, I had to honor the role of family, friends, and the larger communities that surround us all. We are all connected and a little change in one causes a domino effect in their surroundings. If a rising tide raises all ships, then a little change can grow a whole community.

I’ve had the privilege of experiencing true corporate flourishing. Seeing us all grow in health and maturity as we stepped forward together has created markers in my life. These earrings are an outflowing of those times. Physical pieces representing the communal flourishing that creates overwhelming beauty in our lives.
